The Psychoanalytic Method and the Therapeutic Consultation

This work aims to conceptualize some aspects of the psychoanalytic method regarding clinical consultation. I intend to give basis to clinical psychological consultation as a possible therapeutic tool addressed within the framework of psychoanalytic theory. In our listening we privilege the inclusion of the conflict in a new structure of meaning considering the defensive structure based on the transferential field, to enable patient to give first steps towards a better understanding of the problem. We believe usefulness differentiation between psychoanalytic method as what remains more firm than technique which is liable to change and where we can always "create" without "betraying" psychoanalysis.
