Abstract

The paper deals with the bond between the subject and the wish through the analysis of two stories by the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector that refer us to her childhood in a city in the north west of Brazil. The paper puts forward a notion of metaphor as a passage of sense that could be relevant both for literature and for psychoanalysis.
