Abstract

Based on Ostia and La ira de narciso this paper sets out to question the way in which the Narcissistic contract can be affected, through the artistic proposal by Sergio Blanco. The concept of the Narcissistic Contract was developed by the psychoanalyst Piera Aulagnier. The proposal becomes relevant in the context of a theoretical engineering that formulates and integrates a topical perspective integrated into the social field, the historizing work of the Ego and the libidinal investment of the future. The present elaborations are the result of a continuous psychoanalytic clinical work, with an emphasis on the field of psychoses. This paper aims at dealing with the socio symbolic effects generated by the forced disappearance of people, which took place in successive periods of recent and present history. The questions that we find spread out in the artistic pieces by Sergio Blanco, settle and question various topics and open interrogations about the uncanny that slides into the unthinkable. The singular- social historic perspective would become holes of the memory and the investment of the future would precipitate into a pure present inhabited by the presence of absences, disappeared bodies deprived of their life and death. From this perspective, a couple of questions are threaded together: Ostia and La ira de Narciso are poetic political metaphors of the self-murder of our contemporary societies? Do we find ourselves in the presence of the collapse of the Narcissistic Contract and its consequences in the field of subjectivity?
