Approach to the notion of jouissance

In analysis, who arrives with his discourse and manages to elaborate a demand, works with his unconscious singularity. The analyst does it too. Analysis works in transference, not with the transference. When an analyst makes an intervention he is not positioned in an Archimedean point, he performs it within a status of implication from which «the analyst’s desire»
(that function) must arise triumphant so that the device points to the cure. That, beyond any pronoun, or nouns like «analysant» or «analyst», is what happens in the clinic. Jouissance produces psychoanalytic discourse, and this produces jouissance.
The perturbations of the speaker are their modalities. Any nosography indicates forms of jouissance. The analysis seeks, in the singularity of the case, certain knowledge about them. In clinic, when the function falters and work falls out the device, intervene, and usually interfere, identifications and the desire and jouissance of the analyst.
