By the path of the primary process to the effects of the unconscious

Abstract

This paper deals with the different forms in which the primary process manifests itself as an effect of the unconscious. The first pan of it, are examples taken from neurotic patients in which we analyse texts belonging to the psychopathology found in our current clinical experience. The second part of it deals with the primary process in different languages, and the possible transposition from one language to another. The examples are taken from some of the works written by Freud. The fourth, last but not less important, consider the relationship between metapsychology and primary process.
