Estudios recientes sobre análisis simultáneos de padres e hijos (Burlingham, 1935; Hellman, Freidman y Shepheard, 1960; Levy, 1960; Burlingham, Goldberger y Lussier, 1955), sobre determinantes intrafamiliares de conducta sexual divergente en los mellizos (Mesnikoff et al., 1963), sobre situaciones matrimoniales (Stein, 1956), sobre hermanos no mellizos (Pollock,
no publicado) y sobre análisis tempranos y ulteriores del mismo individuo (Hampstead), presentan datos y observaciones correlacionadas que pueden sernos útiles en nuestras posteriores investigaciones sobre las relaciones de objeto en distintas etapas del desarrollo.
