Abstract

Lo que Bertram D. Lewin llamó recientemente Psicología Oral constituye un tema complejo que abarca no sólo los aspectos conocidos del impulso oral en la infancia y sus vicisitudes en la vida ulterior, sino también aspectos remotos tales como el erotismo oral y la sensibilidad de la piel (Fenichel, 1942), los fenómenos hipnagógicos de los estados febriles (Isakower, 1938), la estructura de las ideas delirantes y por último un detalle de la psicología de los sueños: la pantalla del sueño.
Si bien se admite el hecho que el trabajo del psicoanalista da cabida a la investigación laboriosa y a la imaginación ingeniosa, nos preguntamos sin embargo si se reconoce plenamente su carácter tentativo y experimental, y si la generalización no surge antes de que la lentitud comparativa de la práctica analítica permita que las innovaciones sean totalmente re-examinadas y finalmente valoradas.
