From Marginalized Adolescence: a Work Experience

This paper presents an experience of research-action with marginalized adolescents, within a particular tool of work called, the “Word Group”. It stales the psychoanalytic grounds in which it lays and from which these problems are giving meaning. It poses a
way of functioning and of thinking and of carrying out research as well, that is redefined and deepened while working. The “Word Group” condense the pillars upon which the task is thought: group as a socializing matrix, as a referential and unavoidable space in the emergence of the singular subject, and idle word, an instance that avoids not only pedagogy but judgement and sanction as well. The dynamics thus convoked allows for the circulation of conflict, where it is silenced, in the hypothesis that handling with words encourages subjectivation and tends to inhibit acting out.
