The Memory of the Archaic

Abstract

In this paper, some meaning of the archaic experiences in the formation of the subjectivity are explored. The author suggests that the sensory features of the object relationship, could remain encapsulated as indifferentiated areas, whose mobilization arise catastrophic anxieties. The clinical material of a patient in analysis, shows the way in which the obsessional defences act as a sensorial contact that prevent de separation from the object.
