Abstract

Freud‘s ideas are sustained by an anthropology that tries to answer the enigma of difference. Joining the standing prejudice, difference is understood by Freud as revolving around the penis (to have, not to have) and its occasional correlation, the phallus.
In this way it is trapped in the power circuit evident, for example, in the importance given to the castration complex (that finally speaks about coercion and authority). Emphasizing the power‘s point of view, it casts a shadow upon the assumed father‘s wondrous possession of his women, from which the son is excluded.
Every progress in the field of ideas supposes a step back.
And it is Klein who places herself ―before‖: recovers the emphasis in that which makes the difference and allows it to exhibit the value of its various contents: in fecundity, in capacity to give, to create and to enjoy. At the same time envy takes its place as complex positions before the difference.
