"Contrasting" objectives in transference interpretation

Abstract

Are my aims when I interpret transference “contrasted”? I interpret transference when transference is a resistance, but doing so, I create also the new scene on which transference grows, and on which the patient can see what is happening into himself (or herself), and what is repeating from the past. And by this way, I hope to obtain therapeutic results.
