Theoretical aspects of analytical practice; the role of supervisor and supervision.

Abstract

In the paper we reflect on two situations: on the Analyst/Supervisor, and on the Analyst  supervising. The Function of Supervision creates a space: and here, in a biased manner, is configured a return to the analytic experience, which becomes available at the service of the function, and operates in the Analyst triggering a new working through of the experience. This situation gives the Analyst a bonus in his task; a bonus by way of the availabi lity of the experience which in turn favours new working together with the resolution of analytical situations. Transgression spaces are indicated. By this, and in the supervision situation, we mean the Supervisor usurping the Analytic and Teaching functions. Supervision of the Analyst out the curricular situation may generate a bonus, a psychoa-nalytic insight, when the problems are not exclusively on the patient’s side. Given the dynamic specificity of unconsious processes, the Analyst is permanently training.
