Reflections on hate

Abstract

Violence employed against certain social groups, due to their race, their sexual condition, their nationality has spread out throughout the world
in an alarming way. This violence that sometimes goes up to death is accompanied and stimulated by slogans and assertions that, under the form
of discursive language, point out and mark those who are different by projecting hatred and aggressiveness. This paper analyses the historical and social panorama that characterizes the current world. The author gathers ideas from Bion on the analysis of groups and the psychotic part of the personality, to build bridges that point towards a psychoanalytic understanding of these processes.
