The paper is a fictitious letter to Piera Aulagnier, with the aim of establishing a dialogue with her and the readers about her paper «The right to the secret: Condition for thinking». Through this imaginary conversation, the essential aspects of this article are emphasized, at the same time as the paper is confronted with other theories from psychoanalysis and with Aulagnier’s own ideas about the secret, the structuring process of thought and the psyche.
