Abstract

This article describes the author's experience in working with clinical material, which begins in the study group of Marta Nieto in the Uruguayan Psychoanalytic Association. Describes her experience with the methods developed in the European Federation of Psychoanalysis, designed to work systematically on the subject, comparing the work of analysts from different cultures and languages. The paper specifically describes the method of "Two Steps" (D. Tuckett) and "The Map" (J. Canestri) and the experiences that the author had working with them -specially with the first one-, both as participant and presenter. In this sense she specifically
states some comments on the experience she had presenting the Uruguayan model of psychoanalytic training and the completion
of analytic training in a group working with this method.
