Evolution of Group Analytic Psychotherapy: APU 1955-1998

The author questions herself about the evolution of the group analytical ifbpsychotherapy carried out by the Psychoanalytical Association of Uruguay. She raises a series of questions about the beginning, number of members that were analysts and patients of groups, the field in which they were done, why did they declined and why they have not been done ever since. Through a methodology in which diverse sources are included she analyses this points, where “investigation” and “history” join and look for some explanatory hypothesis. Also, it is considered the actual situation.
