Algunas reflexiones sobre el uso y el significado del conflicto en el psicoanálisis contemporáneo

En este trabajo presento algunas reflexiones sobre el concepto de conflicto en el psicoanálisis contemporáneo, y más específicamente en el psicoanálisis europeo, en el cual sin embargo este concepto como tal no parece despertar particular interés. De hecho no recuerdo que haya sido objeto de ningún examen teórico recientemente. Esto no significa necesariamente que el concepto haya sido rechazado o sustituido; a lo más, como mencionaré más tarde, algunos estadios preconflictuales del desarrollo fueron hipotetizados. El concepto de de conflicto es generalmente implícito en el trabajo analítico y su subsiguiente conceptualización, y es usado como sucede con muchos otros conceptos - como sucede con muchos otros conceptos- con muy diferentes y a veces divergentes significados tanto por diversas escuelas de pensamiento como dentro de una misma escuela.
Estas notas serán acompañadas de un ejemplo clínico que intentará ilustrar algunas de las posibles elecciones del analista del caso que implican el uso del concepto de conflicto.
